Uploading a Webpage and FTP details

Use any FTP program and logon to your directory on the server, using the following settings: (We will use Mr. John Doe with the e-mail address jdoe@lantic.net and password qwertyui in this example)

Site label: John Doe
Initial remote directory: leave this blank
Host address: ftp.lantic.net
Initial local directory: c:\webpages\mypage (or any other directory - Not important)
User ID: jdoe - Password: qwertyui

Copy your web-page files and structure into the root directory.

Make sure you name the page you want to be displayed first; index.html (this file name must be all lower case).

The address to your web page will be, for
Personal Connections: http://www.users.lantic.net/jdoe
for Business Connections: http://www.business.lantic.net/jdoe

NB: All filenames are case sensitive. If your site has trouble locating images or pages please check your filenames.
